Hace 250 millones de años con el choque entre placas tectónicas, parte de algunos mares primitivos donde comenzó el origen de la vida orgánica quedaron atrapados entre las montañas del Himalaya, estos mares a causa del sol y la presión atmosférica se fueron cristalizando sus sales y minerales formando montañas.
Esta sal cristalizada tiene unas propiedades curativas muy buenas para el cuerpo humano, ya que es buena para el interior; proporciona un equilibrio de minerales en el cuerpo, si es ingerida de forma continua ,pero en pequñas dosis (como infusiones por ejemplo o en la misma comida).
Y el exterior; limpia la piel de impurezas como; piel muerta, acne,incluso hongos.
Pero en el campo que más se utiliza es en la creacion de lamparas. Lámparas formadas por una piedra grande de sal cristalizada en donde su interior se encuetra una especie de bombilla que emite cierto calor.
Estas lámparas tienen la cualidad de emitir iones negativos que limpian el lugar que les rodea de ondas electromagneticas, aparte de de crear un ambiente sano en lo que respesta a la fluidez de energia positiva en el cuerpo de las personas que viven en su entorno.
Estas lámparas son buenas ponerlas en dormitorios donde hallan aparatos electrónicos u oficinas.Aunque no son buenas situarlas en ambientes con mucha humedad o al aire libre.Por si es de interés el precio de la sal del himalaya son de 6,00 € el kilo.
